Why did the Blitz end?

Simply put, the Blitz came to an end because of high German losses, and because it was clear that the goals of the Blitz could not be achieved. But most importantly, the Blitz came to an end because Hitler turned his military to the East against the Soviet Union, and even the vaunted Luftwaffe didn't have enough men or aircraft to fight a maximum effort campaign on two widely separated fronts.
