Need money urgently, any suggestions?

I ma 36 1/2 weeks pregnant, and have a 12mnoth old. My hsuband was working as a casual and was just laid off. We dont even have enough to cover our rent, we cant access government istance yet as there is a waiting period of 2 weeks. My husband should be getting work as a courier but that could take a week or 2 to organise evrything he requires to carry out that work. How can we get enough money to get us by? No savings, no family to help out either
