Do birds not like yellow bird feeders?

You know, this is really weird, but yellow does freak out many birds. At our aviary, we have to be careful about anything that is this color. Even my birds at home don't like the color yellow. And I have had the same trouble with yellow bird feeders. Not all birds are freaked at it, but a lot of them. It's a question that I'm gonna ask my professor tomorrow when I go to school.
