PLEASE answer my question. i am so confused and i dont understand...strange rainbow dream-supposed spirits?

Admittedly i have strange dreams and maybe once or twice i get similar dreams but that happens to everyone. four or five times now i have had the same dream. I am at school, in the same place (near the gates). This is where i used to meet my friend hollie and in my dream she walks up to me and we chat about stuff. we talk about different things in each dream though. As i turn around to get a full view of the school above the school and sort of over my head are what appear to be thousands of rainbows overlapping each and are just sitting in the sky over my head and the school building. My mum was hoovering my room today and i said i had that dream about hundreds of rainbows again. My mum is a very spiritual person, well, she likes medians and things like that and her father's spirit is always in the living room (he died many years before i was born). Anway i told her about the dream and she said maybe a spirit is trying to get through to you. I thought about it and didn't think it was too bad a theory. I tried searching on the interent but nothing on this kind of thing. The only information i get is that i'm in touch with spirits but i am not like that i do not have visions. i believe they are trying to get in touch with me. What do you all think? and if any of you are medians or specialise in dreams and visions or anything please tell me what it means?
