Do you think it's weird for HIS grandpa to...?

Okay, so this guy that I likes grandpa goes to my church and everything and is really good friends with my dad. When our church shakes hands I'm usually in the choir loft thing, but last Sunday I was with my dad. Anyway, I was walking around shaking hands when I came up to HIS grandpa, and he shook my hand, but he didn't let go after the 5 second handshake. He held my hand longer. Do you think this is weird? What is that supposed to mean? And the grandpa was smiling and stuff?
